There's nothing quite like the feeling of riding your first pedal bike and the Haro Shredder 12 is where it all starts. Transitioning from a Haro PreWheelz balance bike to the Shredder 12 is made easy with features like the low profile light weight aluminum frame and rear coaster brake which provide confidence and ease of control to riders new to pedal bikes. The Shredder 16 Girls has all the same features as the Shredder 16 but with a slightly different frame. The geometry is the same but the girl's version has a slightly lower top tube stand over which makes it easier to straddle.

A bike that introduces them to the action, the Hook 24 is a junior version of our do-anything hardtail mountain bike. Equipped to handle the abuse of real mountain bike trails and daily use around the neighborhood, it's made from the same aluminum alloy as our full-size bikes, so it's practically indestructible. A Zoom fork will give them the confidence to take on obstacles, giving your ripper-to-be 50mm of front suspension travel. The 24-inch wheels are stiff and stable, shod with aggressive 2.25-inch wide tires: perfect for tearing up the woods. Disc brakes and a Shimano 7 speed drivetrain will keep them climbing. This model fits riders 53"-62" tall, aged approximately 8-12 years old.

Our new Flightline 2 has a fully revamped alloy frame featuring all internal cable routing and a tapered steerer tube. Upgraded to a 1x8 Shimano Altus drivetrain for simple one-handed shifting and mechanical disc brakes with 160mm rotors for stopping power. With durable double-wall alloy 29-inch rims and knobby multi-surface 29x2.1 tires, it can take on groomed bike paths or rocky dirt trails. Plus, it's compatible with a dropper post with internal cable routing, so it can be easily upgraded as your riding style progresses. Over the course of the last year, we collaborated with Fulton to bring his art to life through these Radical Rick-themed 24", 26" and 29" models.
